Belgium made semiautomatic takedown rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, manufactured circa 1968 by FN Herstal, Belgium. Imported by Browning Arms Co, St. Louis, Mo. & Montreal P.Q. The rifle features a blued finish, 19" round take-down barrel, blade front sight with brass bead, adjustable sporting flip-up rear sight, smooth curved trigger, and checkered push button safety. The walnut furniture consists of semi-pistol grip buttstock with checkering at the wrist, checkering on the forend, magazine tube in butt, and a serrated metal buttplate. Receiver is engraved with limited coverage of floral scrolls and edge patterns, floral scroll on the trigger guard, and the barrel is drilled and tapped to mount an optics. The rifle retains approximately 98% of its original finish with minor scratches on the barrel, and superficial blemishes. Wood furniture is excellent with a high gloss finish, and a few very minor blemishes. Very slight play in the buttstock. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
